Hand-loom Collection
Pure organic cotton. Grown, spun and woven by the local farmers, spinners and weavers of the Kutch district in Gujarat India.
HOW WE WORK
PRODUCTION
We produce all our garments locally and ethically in East London.
MATERIALS
Our hand-loomed pieces are sourced from Gujarat India where drought resistant Kala cotton crops are grown, spun and then hand-loomed locally by families who form part of a co-operative of highly skilled artisans. This seed to cloth circular economy has a positive impact both socially and environmentally.
We also source fabrics from the 'dead-stock' produced by French & Italian luxury fashion houses, reducing waste and the need for new production.
Our sheepskin pieces are made in-house from end-of-line sheepskins, again making use of mainstream fashion industry waste, this also means that every piece is unique. We also make use of all our off-cuts for the smaller pieces, so there is little to no waste.
